lyrics
Tell me what’s on your mind
You’re wondering how to make it last
Forget about all your old problems
No sense in dwelling in the past
Heard your footsteps on the pavement
As you walked on by my door
I don’t mean to seem impatient
It’s just I wish I saw you more
All the strangers that surround me
Couldn’t try to understand
So come and put your arms around me
Put your hand inside my hand
Tell me what’s on your mind
You’re trying to make the feeling last
You watch things change as you get older
And they slip further from your grasp
But now the wind up bird is calling
The dogs are barking in the night
So I switch off the world around me
Shut it all out of my sight
All the strangers that surround me
Couldn’t try to understand
So come and put your arms around me
Put your hand inside my hand
Tell me what’s on your mind
All the strangers that surround me
Couldn’t try to understand
So come and put your arms around me
Put your hand inside my hand
Tell me what’s on your mind
EZTV were a band we felt very inspired by, and we've frequently used their music as a point of reference when writing/arranging our own. Glad to see Ezra T keeping it going with this great new album! Mt. Misery

Remember how Bill Murray woke up to I Got You Babe every day in Groundhog Day? If that song would have been Made Of Moods, he at the very least experienced three and a half perfect minutes each day. It’s one of those songs that I enjoy each and every second of, with it’s jangly guitars and hushed vocals that almost have a Beach Boys vibe, especially in the verse. Truly, it’s a song for the ages. But the best news about Still Life is that it offers eleven additional underground pop gems. Niek || Add To Wantlist
Released in 2001, “The Convincer” is a gentle gem in the Nick Lowe catalog; an anniversary edition provides opportunity for rediscovery. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 20, 2021
